    Due to the nature of the Au Pair in America program, there are some medical conditions that cannot be accepted.  Au Pair in America has over 20 years experience in sending young people as au pairs to America.  During this time we have developed considerable experience and expertise in determining which medical conditions or disabilities are appropriate for the au pair environment and which are not.  At all times we seek to put the health and welfare of our participants and the children in their care first.
     
    We apologise if some of our terms seems harsh, however, our policy is base on experience and we believe it is better to make such policies explicit and not to disappoint applicants later in the application.
